Since it was founded in 2008, CycloChrome has specialized in bike mechanics. Our master mechanics and trainees take care of all of BIXI Montréal’s self-servicebike repair needs, as well as those of the SPVM’s bicycle safety brigade. More than 40 000 repairs are carried out each year in our workshop.

The idea behind CycloChrome is to prevent school dropout by fostering academic perseverance. Our main mission? Train youth in bike mechanics and accompany them in their career development to promote their socio-professional integration.

To make it all possible, we have partnered with the CSSDM to offer a MEES accredited training in bike mechanics. In addition, we offer the opportunity for our employees to complete their secondary level education. Thanks to the CREP, our employees can not only work in our company but gain access to in-house accredited courses that can lead to a high school diploma or equivalency.

In short, we strive to equip our team with the resources required to tap into their full potential and reach their dreams!

Our board of directors

As a social economy business, CycloChrome has a duty to form a board of directors. All members of our board of directors are volunteers, ensuring that we represent the public interest in our regular fiduciary operations. Board members are responsible for putting in place a management strategy and a long-term management policy. As part of their additional responsibilities, they commit to attend various meetings, to learn about our projects and to define development strategies. They are valuable assets!
